The Y5s and Y6s had an amazing first day of residential. The coach dropped them off in the sunshine at Flamborough Head, where they were able to sketch the lighthouse.
After that, they walked along the coastal path to North Landing, looking for caves, arches, stacks and stumps.
At North Landing Beach, the children explored caves, skimmed stones and collected language for poetry.
A second coach trip took them to Boggle Hole Youth Hostel.
Everyone was ready for a delicious tea!
The day ended with an exciting night time trip to the beach.
