On Monday, we were delighted to welcome the children’s author Peter J. Murray. Peter is the author of the Mokee Joe series that have been captivating children for nearly 20 years.
Peter spoke with all the children in KS2 about writing fiction and how to build suspense to entertain readers. The children were enthralled as Peter gave them little snippets of information about the books, using drama, humour and involving the children throughout!
On Tuesday morning, there was a huge buzz in school as the children lined up to have books signed by him, many of whom had chosen a ‘space bun’ hair style inspired by Molly – one of the characters from his books.
It is wonderful to see so many of the children in school enjoying their new Mokee Joe books.
