Children in Merlins and Ospreys have spent this term learning about tropical rainforests, and a particular part of it, cacao, that is used to create chocolate.
As part of an enterprise project, the children were asked to form companies and create a chocolate product that they wanted to make and sell. Today, the children set up their shops to sell their chocolate products: milkshakes, hot chocolate, orange flavoured chocolates, strawberry flavoured chocolates, fruit skewers drizzled with chocolate, chocolate pots, chocolate biscuits and chocolate cake were the delights that were on sale.
What a great afternoon: the children really enjoyed themselves!
