We went on a BIG adventure today! We went all the way to Cleethorpes.
On arrival, we sat and had a drink and a snack. We found a nice shady spot.
In our literacy lessons we had been learning about instructions. We wrote a set of instructions to help us make a perfect sandcastle. We used this knowledge today on the beach!
We also went beachcombing. We used the items we had found to create some beach art work.
We also played beach games.
The sun was certainly shining, so lunch under a shelter was needed.
We were hoping that the sea would be in, but this did not happen. We decided to go and find some water for us to have a little paddle in. It felt so good on the feet.
A good day was had by all!
