We had a busy half term preparing for our final event. We invited our parents and carers to come and eat at our restaurant. We created artwork for the restaurant walls, placemats and also table decorations out of clay. We then made a variety of sandwiches and a lovely fruit salad. Can you believe that we even made our own bread, just like the ‘Little Red Hen’ did?
We also listened to a variety of music genres, and chose some music which we thought would be appropriate for our restaurant. We quickly ruled out rock and heavy metal, as this was far too loud and we wanted our customers to be able to talk to each other. We also provided our customers with some entertainment. We sang a fruit salad song and put some actions to this.
We wore our chef hats with pride!
Our restaurant looked amazing and very welcoming. Our customers ALL gave us a 5 star review!
