The children in Snowy Owls had a fantastic day at Crucial Crew in Hellaby on Wednesday 18th October. In the morning, the children learnt about how to keep safe near open water, what to do in the event of a house fire, the consequences of arson and how to stay safe when crossing the road.
During the afternoon, the children took part in a courtroom scenario, learnt about knife crime and hate crime, found out about how to use public transport responsibly and discussed the signs of Child Criminal Exploitation.
The children were wonderful and contributed to all the discussions with enthusiasm and maturity.
