Robins got off to a fantastic start launching their new topic with a brilliant day learning all about our capital city London. We made some delicious scones and ate them of course!! We played a game of cricket, England versus Australia and we watched part of the Paddington Bear film which is set in London and is going to be the basis of a lot of our work in our English lessons.
Although we were only at school for that single day, the children were so enthusiastic about our topic and we are sure that wherever Robins are their enthusiasm and passion for learning about London, the United Kingdom and Australia will shine through!
We have already been blown away by the quality of the work that has been completed and sent in from home. Please see a selection of some of the amazing work that we have received. It has been so lovely to see the many smiling faces this week, Robins really are resilient and resourceful (and so are their parents). They are a joy to teach whether they are in school or at home.
