Hello everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather we are having!
Thank you to all those children sending me photos of everything they have been up to and the fantastic pieces of writing they have produced. Seeing photos of you all really does put a huge smile on my face!
I am still trying to contact everyone’s parents/carers to find out how you are getting on. If you haven’t heard from me yet, you should do soon.
Again, I would like you to continue to use the lessons on the Oak National Academy website. In maths this week, the focus continues to be on decimals – multiplying decimals and solving a range of problems involving decimals.
In English, the focus is on discussion texts. At the end of the week, you will be asked to produce a piece of writing, giving a balanced argument about whether school uniform should be banned. Please send me any writing you do.
If you get chance, I’d love you to have a look at the science lesson, which is all about electrical circuits and the art lesson where you’ll be asked to produce a piece of abstract art inspired by a Spanish artist called Juan Miro.
Well done to all those children who are continuing to complete the tasks on Active Learn. I have added some extra maths, spelling and grammar challenges for this week. Please continue to practise your multiplication tables on TT Rockstars.
Take care,
Mrs Bower
