Greenlands’ Got Talent is nearly here

The children in Snowy Owls and Golden Eagles are excited and busy getting ready for their talent show, where children from Wrens to Snowy Owls will showcase their talents. We have a great range of acts to look forward to, from singing to kickboxing and a puppet show to historical comedy! The song ‘Not So Different’, written by the children in Y5 and Y6, is finished and  was premiered on Thursday 24th March at 6pm. This will be performed live on the night of the talent show. We will be supporting a small charity called War Child. War Child focuses on helping children around the world who are affected by war.

To put the talent show together, the Year 5 and Year 6 children each have a particular role: we have press officers, charity ambassadors, artists, fundraisers, refreshments, comperes, and children in charge of programmes and ticketing.

All the profits from tickets, programmes, refreshments, merchandise, glow sticks and a range of games such as chocolate tombola, spin the wheel and name the teddy will be donated to War Child.

Thank you for all your support. Everyone is filled with suspense to see who the winning act will be!
