Merlins started off their new topic with a great Topic Launch day! The children read some Greek myths and took part in some drama; acting out the myth of Pandora’s Box. They then designed their own ‘Pandora’s Box’ in which to put in any bad feelings or thoughts.
In the afternoon, the children learned about how the Olympics began in Ancient Greece, then they took part in several ‘Olympic-style events, such as Chariot racing, javelin throwing and running.
What a great start to our new topic!
