Well, at school we just love taking part in this celebration.
Can you guess why?
Yes you guessed it, we got to eat some. Yum! Yum!
We talked about why we celebrate Pancake Day, which is also known as Shrove Tuesday, and how we do this. We did looked at four other countries to see how they celebrate this day too.
We then talked about what ingredients is needed to make the pancakes, and learnt a pancake song. We took a copy of this song home to sing with our family, as lots of us are having pancakes tonight for tea too.
Once, we had eaten our pancakes, we decided, to take our PE lesson outside and have some fun with pancakes.
We had a few pancake races.
Then we we had to race against each other and toss the pancake, before passing it on to the next person. This was great fun for us and our teachers!
