Merlins and Ospreys have had a very creative day learning about their new topic ‘Our Green Planet’. During the morning, the children had to recreate the painting by Henri Rousseau – Tiger in a Tropical Storm. The children could choose either to paint, use pastels, make a collage or use wool wrapping on one section of the artwork.
During the afternoon, the children followed instructions to make their own miniature tropical rainforest in the form of a terrarium. The children can’t wait to learn more about this fascinating topic. Just look at our photos to see how much fun we have had already!
