What a fantastic way to end our Greek Myths topic, and in fact the year! Merlins and Ospreys worked so well to create many amazing and unique Olympic events for our final event this term: Greenlands Olympic Games.
From team games, to individual events, to crazy obstacle courses to skill-based challenges, Merlins and Ospreys created such a wide variety of events that were suitable and enjoyed by all. When planning for our event, teamwork, enthusiasm and creativity shone through from each group and the results were brilliant.
The children were able to showcase their event as well as trying out and competing in the others. We finished off our Olympics in Ancient Greek style with a running race followed by a chariot race in which the children loved.
On Friday, the rest of the school got to try out our events: it was a great success and enjoyed by all!
