Merlins danced their way through the decades at our Christmas coffee morning, starting with a dance from the seventies; Staying Alive by the Bee Gees, then into the eighties with Thriller by Michael Jackson, nineties with Saturday Night by Whigfield and finished with a more current artist, Olly Murs and Heart Skips a Beat! The dance culminates lots of hard work this term in learning about music through the decades. The children helped me choreograph the dance by sharing their own ideas: what a brilliant job they did!
The dance, along with the Rock and Pop through the Decades concert, shows what a talented bunch of children we have in our school.
As well as dancing, the children also sang Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree and sang two songs with Ospreys: Imagine and Vive la Vert!
A huge well done!
