The children, in Year 4, have made a great start to their topic this term: the topic is Games, Gadgets and Gizmos. They have been learning about inventions that have changed the world; from Victorian inventions such as the telephone, radio, light bulb, motor-car, aeroplane, to more modern inventions such as the television, radar, plastic, computers and the world wide web. It has been really interesting to research the inventions; their inventor and how the invention did change the world.
In Ospreys we are learning how to code in order to create our own computer game: we had to create a character and a background before coding.
Some of the class have brought games and gizmos in from home: gadgets such as BB8, Mip and voice-controlled robotic pets.
