On Friday 5th March 2016, Ospreys visited Rawmarsh City Learning Centre where they were able to program spheros and learn about programing other robots.
In groups, the children learned how to code using an App on the ipad, to manoeuvre a sphero (see photos). The children were fascinated with how they could make the sphero move, change colours and draw shapes.
Other learning experiences involved creating a maze, on the iMac, for a robot to make a journey; the children also looked at how other robots are programed.
