Robins’ African Harvest Celebration Assembly

To celebrate the end of Robin’s topic, ‘ Stories from Africa’, the children delivered an amazing celebration assembly to parents/family members and the rest of the children by performing a selection of African folk stories, songs and not forgetting the famous ‘Waka Waka’ dance! Donations were brought in by Robin’s parents for our twinned partnership school in Zambia – Twayuka Primary School. An abundance of pencils, sharpeners, paper and rulers were generously donated.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the bigger children, who was heard coming out of the hall, said, ‘that was amazing!’

After the assembly, parents and family members made their way to Robins class where a variety of souvenirs such as gift bags and home-made baked scones and butter biscuits were on sale.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated essential school equipment for Twayuka Primary School. We can’t wait to share these with our visitors!
