The Snowy Owls and Golden Eagles had a great day in York on Monday 15th May.
At ‘DIG’ we had the opportunity to investigate finds from real digs with the help of an archaeologist.
We helped a Viking to tell Norse sagas, kennings and myths.
After finding out about the remains of a real Viking village, we boarded a time machine pod and headed back in time to York over a thousand years ago, complete with sounds, smells and sights!
