On Wednesday 18th May, the Year 5 and Year 6 children had a great day at the National Media Museum in Bradford. We started with a stunning 3D IMAX film which showed us how the International Space Station had been constructed. After that, we had the opportunity to explore six amazing floors of galleries, including ‘The Magic Factory’, which helped us to understand the science of light and shadow, ‘The Games Lounge’, where we had the opportunity to play on retro computer games and ‘Experience TV’, where we could have a go with a real TV camera. Can you spot the photo of us trying out skydiving on a ‘blue screen’? The visit ended with a fascinating workshop, through which we learnt all about light and reflection.
