On Monday 2nd March, the Golden Eagles and Snowy Owls spent a thought provoking day at the Imperial War Museum in Salford. In the Main Exhibition Space, we were taken through a timeline of conflict from the First World War to the present day. Through a learning session, we were able to handle artifacts belonging to four real people who had been involved in wars over the last hundred years. The visit supported our work over the last term, extending our understanding of the experiences of children who have been involved in conflict.
