Over 30 children from our school took part in the Cross-country festival at Dinnington Comprehensive School last week. The children did us proud by all managing to complete the circuit in good time. Four children, from our school, managed to get through to the next round at Herringthorpe: Ashleigh, Aimee, Lucas and Harry. Well done to all who took part!
At Herringthorpe, the children performed really well again: this time it was a much longer circuit. Ashleigh, a year 4 girl, came in at 5th position and Harry, a Year 5 boy, came in at position number 26. The children were running against the fastest runners from schools all over Rotherham.
What a great achievement for our children: well done!
