The Great Global Bake Off

On Tuesday 4th April, the Y5 and Y6 children will be holding a Bake Off competition – children and their parents, carers or grandparents will be able to enter. It will be judged on how tasty the food is, the appearance, decoration and technique.

There will be four different categories: (a) cakes, (b) biscuits, cookies and scones,     (c) buns, muffins and cake pops and (d) savoury food.

There are a few rules you have to follow: no nuts are allowed in the food and if a child is entering, a parent may supervise with chopping, baking, etc but most of the work must be the child’s.

Please take entries to the Community Room before 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday 4th April. Judging will take place in the morning and all food will be sold during the food festival in the afternoon, when the winners will be announced. All proceeds will go to UNHCR, the United Nations charity which supports refugees around the world.
