Today, we came to school dressed as superheroes to launch our new topic. Our topic title is ‘The Healthy Heroes TV Channel’. We gathered for a superhero photo.
Our intention this half term is to learn about our body and the importance of staying healthy mentally and physically. We will then identify ways to achieve this, and then educate others by creating a film for our TV channel.
The children knew exercise was good for the body, so we learnt a superhero dance first.
We then used our scooters to follow a course. This was tiring, as we went round both yards at least three times.
We then went and made some superhero props ready for filming to take place.
We also used superhero colours to create some backgrounds for filming too.
