We obviously had to celebrate ‘Pancake Day/Shrove Tuesday Early’ as it fell in half term.We learnt all about it, and why we celebrate it, and how other countries also celebrate it. We listened to a lovely story called, ‘The Runaway Pancake’. We also found out that the biggest pancake in the world measured over 15 metres long – we went outside and drew this on the yard. It was HUGE!!
We then learnt how to make pancakes, and then we them. They were delicious!
We then went and had a pancake race like others do.
We also had a go at tossing our own pancakes outside.
