What a fascinating and fun way to end a fantastic term!

On July 14th Ospreys, along with Merlins and also Robins, walked down to Anston Stones.  We were lucky enough to meet up with and talk to a group of archaeologists, from Durham University, about the excavation they had carried out and what they had found.  The children learned about Anston during the Ice-Age and other periods of time.  They were able to ask questions before heading down to Dead-Man’s cave where the Archaeologist explained about what the cave had been used for in years gone by.

The children walked back to the park where they had lunch before spending the afternoon playing games on the park.

A great time was had by all!
