On Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day and just like everything else over the past year, it was very different. However, whether at home or at school, we celebrated the day by dressing up as a favourite book character or wearing pyjamas and taking part in lots of book themed activities.
The children in KS1 and KS2 took part in online zoom sessions with some fantastic authors such as Michael Rosen, Catherine Johnson and Neal Layton and it was wonderful to see so many children listening to the storytelling sessions during the afternoon.
We also had a huge number of children taking part in our competition to design a diorama of a favourite story. The winners will be announced on Monday when we are all back in school. It is going to be a very difficult decision!
