This half term we have been very busy learning our nativity songs, and also some dances to perform to our parents/carers.
Some of us were angels.
Some of us were donkeys.
Some of us were other animals.
We worked with Key stage 1 to put on this performance, and we were amazing! Here are some photos of us on stage……
Tracey also came to see us from church. She brought lots of puppets, as she wanted us to help her re-tell the Christmas story. Tracey was very impressed with how much we already knew!
We all made crowns to wear for our first school Christmas lunch. What do you think?
There were lots of clean plates too! Christmas dinner was such a hit!!!!
We then went to our local Tesco to share our Christmas cheer! We sang our nativity songs to the local community. We raised £128!!! This will be used to buy resources for our next topic, but also some clear umbrellas.
We have made Christmas cakes to share with our family too!
We have been making pomanders today, as we have been learning about how people decorated their homes in the past for Christmas.
We have also been to the pantomime this afternoon (14th December) to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. We will be using this story to kick off our next topic. We are going to be learning about fairy tales!
We would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and say a big thank you for all your support this half term!
