Wrens have been learning about ‘People Who Help Us’. The children were particularly good at sharing their knowledge about ‘People Who Help Us in the Community’, which actually helped us to create our mind-map. Some of the people we thought of even managed to find time in their busy schedules to visit us!!
The children were all keen to try their uniforms on……
Some children were extremely confident and even went inside their vehicles….
Some children even managed to ask some questions, which helped us develop our knowledge further.
We are now going to be very busy in our Literacy lessons, creating thank you cards for our visitors.
There are lots of people who help us in the community and it’s great to learn about how they help us in our day-to-day lives through first hand experiences. All of the children thoroughly enjoyed this experience!
